We had an awesome time at Featherstone winery for a friend's 50th. For the tasting menu, we each had a choice of 3 different wines. On top of that we had the nicest charcuterie board available. Along with the usual meats and cheese, it also came with the nicest dried fruits like apricots and figs. Afterwards we were given a tour of the winery where Bruce gave us a wonderful tour. On top of that we managed to safely cross the bridge. It would be great to return next season to see the sheeps graze the vineyard
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Featherstone Winery in Niagara Falls! We were celebrating the 50th birthday of a good friend and were so happy to share these special moments with him. Our meal was delightful, and we are so grateful to the owner, Rayla, for her amazing hospitality, friendliness, and the personal tour of the winery. The ambiance was lovely, and it was clear how much time and care Rayla puts into every detail. The educational tour led by Bruce was both fun and informative. The charcuterie board was off the chart—especially the figs! Cassandra, our server, was friendly and excellent, making sure everything was perfect. Bruce was an outstanding wine connoisseur and expert, sharing his knowledge with enthusiasm and making the tasting truly special. Last, but certainly not least, Rayla, the owner, is an incredibly genuine and down-to-earth person. At no point did we feel like we were interacting with the owner—she made us feel as though we were catching up with a good friend. She thoughtfully wished our birthday friend a Happy 50th and engaged in light conversation and playful banter, making the experience even more memorable. Rayla also shared insights about the winery’s ownership, recent upgrades, and exciting plans for the future, adding a personal and educational touch to our visit. Highly recommend Featherstone Winery for anyone looking for a memorable meal, fantastic wines, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Welcoming vineyard, grounds were immaculate and dog friendly. We each did a flight. The Pearl white wine was delicious. Fizzics was a winner for all of us. Had the opportunity to visit with the owner to learn of recent renovations and some wine production methods. Retail area had other specialty offerings that complemented their products.
Great place, under reno now. No tours. Wine tasting is there in backroom. Host was great. Warmest welcome ever. Our dog was offered treats and water. Everything was perfect for me as my fur daughter was happy. Must visit.
Visited Featherstone for wine tasting and wood oven pizzas with a social group. Absolutely beautiful property. Wonderful staff with knowledgeable and friendly service. Absolutely love that this winery is sustainable! Highly recommend a stop here if you’re in the Niagara region. Will definitely be back!
What a warm welcome we received from Jane who was about to close but stayed open to share her love for Featherstone wines. We enjoyed the nicest selection of wines and loved her every suggestion. Happy to say that we left with a nice box of various wines that we cannot wait to share and enjoy. Jane was very special and we hope she's working when we return!
Really enjoyed the ambience as we were on a covered porch looking out at beautiful views of vineyards and flowers. The Pinot Grigio was really nice and is a rose.
